Imboru Tours Limited is a company fully owned by Tanzanians with the insight knowledge of the country. The name of the Company - Imboru is derived from the proper name for Mbulu District and its Headquarters established by Germans in 1905. The district is one of the places in Tanzania where the four major African linguistic families cohesively subsist in.

The linguistic families are Bantu (Mbugwe), Nilotic (Barbaig), Cushitic (Iraqw) and Khoisan (Hadzabe). The District encompasses the Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks, soda lakes Eyasi and Manyara.

Imboru Tours is an adventure safari tour company employing most knowledgeable and experiences personnel in order to ensure that visitors to Tanzania will be intimately with the magnificence of the country.

Tanzania is the place to view endless herds of wildebeest and zebras trekking across the plains on the annual migrations pursued by the predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

It is the country of elephants, showing off some of the largest populations in the world. And it’s home to apes such chimpanzees now seldomly seen in the wild.

The country has beautiful beaches and hundreds of miles of palm-fringed sands and its lakes are deep and with abundant species of fish, its cities and people are friendly. Its islands, Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia live up to exotic images.

Ngorongoro Crater is the largest caldera in the world, a vast amphitheatre teeming with game while the remains of one of the earliest human being was discovered at the Olduvai Gorge, now the country is regarded as “The Cradle of Mankind.” As a result of all these features, UNESCO has accorded the area the status of a World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Reserve. Also, the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro attracts many climbers.

Tanzania, then Tanganyika used to be Victorian explorers is where explorers made expedition of discovery in search of the source of Nile River. It is where Henry Stanley uttered “Dr. Livingstone I presume.”
